Well, based of the Ellis trade, who is better than Ekholm (and signed longterm), that package is the best Nashville could hope for. Bellows should be able to be a 20-goal scorer in the NHL. Anatoly Golyshev has been elite in KHL for a couple of years, though hard to predict how that translates. Otto Koivula isn’t in the NHL because the depth in c. Barzal, Nelson, Pageau, Cizikas, Zajac. He should be ready for the NHL now, so no, he’s not an AHLer. Upon this Nashville also get a 1st rounder, which holds great value in this deep upcoming draft.

By your mind, Nashville should get 2 1st rounders and Oliver Wahlstrom? Ekholm is 31 and already on decline.

I don’t want that crybaby anyways, I’m from Sweden, he’s pretty controversial over here. He’s known for crying out loud often how tough his life is, and that people cannot understand the business side of NHL and that he have to be away from his child and wife for a couple of days sometimes (to live his dream and earn millions and millions of dollars). And he’s said multiply times that no one wants to be in his shoes, it’s not a great life doing what he’s doing because of him not being able to see his family everyday.
