With what has been done so far, an Eichel or Dvorak trade does not make sense. Personally I think Eichel is not long term beneficial to the rangers. If Mika is unable to sign a team friendly contract there will be other opitions, but I think he will. A Dvorak trade would hurt the development of Chytil. The Rangers will open the season with 3 solid lines with a checking will that will be strictly matchup based. I don’t think you will see a solid 4th line that plays every night together unless there is chemistry found, which with the combination of players I have a hard time seeing. If a trade was to happen I believe it would involve Georgie. I believe the big moves will be at the trade deadline. Strome and Georgie will be gone. If Chytil doesn’t take the next step and develop like drury and the organization would like, I think they will try to move him. I’m probably a Lone Ranger fan on this one, but I like most of what Drury has done. I really like his assistant GM choice in Martin I think this will benefit him and the Wolfpack. I didn’t understand the extension to Reaves, Understood the trade just not the extension. As for Adam Fox I think this will be another team friendly signing, unless something has changed he has and only wanted to play for the rangers, that’s why they got him so cheap from Carolina. The biggest factor for Mika and Fox signing team friendly contracts will be if they feel the rangers are close to winning a cup. The rangers in the coming year will have other big players to sign so it’ll come down to money VS a shot at Lord Stanley’s Cup. From what I have read and watched I believe they’ll want the cup. I have also been wrong before, ask my wife. Just wanted to throw my ideas out there and before everyone goes into a high speed wobble and complaining that I hurt your feelings remember this, I am not a GM nor am I equipped to do the job. I am just a fan with a few ideas. What do you think?
