You obviously don't understand , or since you don't live in Minnesota doesn't understand there's certainly wild players who won't be traded. Yes, you are living under a rock if you think a player just signed to a contract for next year for cheap and hometown player is going to get traded. I don't think this happens for one simple reason..... The Wild's cap situation doesn't allow them to part with a guy who can play C and is only making 900k and has shown a willingness to sign cap-friendly deals to stay in his home town..... Also, for once, the Wild's prospect pipeline is looking pretty good. So they aren't really in 'desperate need of draft picks'.

Maybe work on a deal with Tampa for Cirelli. Their pick situation is pretty dismal next year and I am not sure their cap situation will allow them to keep Tony. He'll cost more than a 3rd but he's a much better player than Bjugstad.
