you have a valid point, and my opinion was honestly figuring us at around 8-10. the goalie prospect took into consideration mostly Gaudreau, Melnichuyk and Chrona, all three are highly rated and out of the three they are projecting at least one should make it to all star status. but they had our forwards and our D pretty high (top 10 all 3 categories)
Friend, unless we're thinking of very different people, that dude's goalie scores were based entirely on Hill and Melnichuk - and in the case of Melnichuk, it does
not take last year into account. Oh, and he's
really dishonest about his goalie rankings.
In an interview he did with Sheng Peng he says that his cut-off for goalies is 100 games played, which is how Hill is still considered a prospect. But by those standards, he should be counting Jack Campbell, Thatcher Demko, Elvis Merzlikins, and Cal Petersen. Hell, Carter Hart only makes that cut off by two games - he's only played 101 games. Mackenzie Blackwood only has 105. Most of those guys are starting goaltenders, but if he were actually applying his formula the way that he says he does, well, I think that Toronto, Vancouver, Columbus, and LA would be ranked a lot higher in his goalie prospects list.
I am
highly skeptical of his rankings.
