This trade is based on what the Sabres current asking price is (young top 6, two prospects, two 1st).

The issue with Montreal is that they have some cap issues, so Drouin, and Bryson are there to help make space. However Drouin would have to agree to this.

The second issue with Montreal is that they play in the Sabres division. This tends to be a issue in the past when teams move high end players.

Ik everyone will say it's overpaying, it is alot. But I honestly don't think anything less would get him into Montreal. And with his NMC kicking in next season this is kinda Montreal only time to attempt a trade for Eichel.

Cole or nick are nice, but a healthy eichel is better then what they will probably ever be.

Yeah, cause habs fans flock at the sniff of any one on the block. Eichel doesn't make sense with Montreal's roster, they are built for depth and eichel would have to sacrifice too much depth

Completely agree. Any trade for Eichel should be a team looking to go for it all, and who is willing to sell the farm.

Vegas Makes sense to a degree, but they already have so much cap extended past the next 2-3 years it might handcuff them.

Most sense to me would be NYR or Calgary with a Monahan Swap among other things, Then Buffalo Flips Monahan to another team thats looking for a Great 2C or a Solid #1 guy, and get back youth to build fast around.
