Giroux is really good but he is going to be 30 next year. if we are going to give up our young promising center, lets do it for someone who is in their mid 20's MAX.

True but you got to keep some players who will be still good when those others are old and declining. If we swap the entire team with good but 30 year old guys now, we'll be a bad team with hard to move contracts for 10 years straight. Need to start grooming the future core while the current core is starting to decline. IMO

if they wanted to groom for the future they shouldn't have traded Subban away haha. I'd love this deal as a Flyers fan.
