Only way I c oilers doing that trade is if Georgiev signs an extension before the trade because why would they trade a good prospect a 1st round pick and a goalie for a rental

he is an RFA not a UFA, so not really a rental at all and Mikko is a cap dump, not a positive asset in this deal.

My thought here is to let Allaire coach him up and rebuild some value and then flip him at the deadline for 50% retained and get another asset for him.
