Just wait until February when Hedman, Killorn and/or Palat acquire a "season-ending" injury and go on LTIR to free up another 5 or 10 million in cap space to bring in another couple top 9 FWDS. What's that? They all heal up in time for playoffs, great!

I have no problem with it. Leafs did the same thing, just didn't work out too well. As long as its allowed by the NHL why wouldn't you do it.
