Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

In a recent press conference Kyle Dubas said that a priority was looking at free agency and searching for a Goalie, Forwards depth and a "Bogosian Type" D man. He also said that if that does not work he will has a first, top prospects and desriable pieces on the roster to improve the team. I tried being as realistic as one can be in an ArmChair GM so be kind and id love to know what other teams think of the trades plz do not just say "doesnt make sense no". I want to know why.

Capitals just moved Dillon and have a hole on the left side. All of their D are over the age of 30 so dermott provides guaranteed cost efficient bottom Pair guy that has the chance to move up. Sprong is blocked on the right side by OV, oshie and Wilson.

Leafs add a useful player next to AM and MM who has finals expierence, scores goals and falls into the age range of contention. They give up forward depth in kerfoot, a first and a forward prospect (which they have plenty of). The issue become signing Gurianov to an extension.

Dallas moves Gurianov because with the Development of Robertson and Hintz plus Benn Radulov the wing is a bit blocked. Only Seguin and Pavelski down the middle. Gurianov is also due a new contract and dallas would prefer a cost controlled center in Kerfoot. They also get a first round pick in a good year next season and a good prospect in Roni Hirvonen who was a second pick a year ago.

Caps say no. Sprong isn't penciled in as 3RW right now behind Wilson and Oshie (Ovechkin and Mantha on the left) so he's not blocked. And Caps don't have a need at LHD because Kempny is coming back and Fehervary is ready for a full time role.

Dallas declines. Value isn’t awful, but with Benn likely playing Center this year, it keeps Gurianov on a wing in the top-6.

Not to mention the fact that Pavelski & Radulov are both in the final year of their contracts. Trading Gurianov is extremely shortsighted because Dallas would need a Gurianov-like player next season.

Given where this team is at & how Gurianov fits into the organization moving forward, I don’t see Dallas moving him for anything less than a significant overpay.

Agreed, Caps cant afford to give up cheap scoring. I expect sprong to be 2RW and Osh to move to third line
