Still lots of space to add a top 4 RD and retain Danault. Armia likely gets closer to 3.1 to keep him from going to market, while Bergevin has more leverage with Lehkonen. I can see Lehks signing at that 2.5
I think Bergevin is likely going one of two routes: go after a big name RD (Hamilton), let Danault walk hoping Poehling is NHL ready and add character depth forwards.
If that doesn't work, which it likely won't, he will go this route: sign a journeyman RD that can plug the hole on the back end (Chris Wideman from the KHL), sign Danault and - if he can - another character veteran on a cheap contract (Getzlaf, Parise, etc)
