I think you lose more than you gain here. Is McCabe really a reliable replacement for Leddy? Is Zajac capable of filling Zeekers shoes? I just dont think so.

McCabe is a very capable 2nd pair LHD Dman he put up pretty good states on a horrible Sabers team covering Ristolainen. McCabe is a very underated player. Zajac doesn't need to do much to replaces Cizikas and no way isles pay Cizikas the 5 million dollars he is asking for. Isles get stronger overall and are now true contenders to take down Tampa.

My understanding is that Cizikas told Seattle that it would cost $5M to get him to consider signing there. I hope that he would take a significant discount to stay on the Island, but who knows as this is probably his last chance at a big paycheck.
