Colorado said they wanted a young, NHL defenseman, a top prospect, and a 1st round pick for Landeskog.
Every trade has the young NHL defenseman, with top 2/4 capability/ potential, and another good player (except LA trade, that I'll admit is a stretch). Colorado is insane if they want more than that. Plus, most every team would have to dump some salary in a trade. Most trades involving sending a high end forward for defensive help just aren't going to net much more than a top 2-4 d man, and a replacement for the outgoing forward.
