The Isles seem to be pretty heavily connected to Tarasenko and it wouldn't shock me if the Kraken immediately flips him with some retained salary so they can shore up some future assets.
With the added cap space, the Kraken can take a big swing on Dougie to get a cornerstone defenseman. I'm not really sure that'd be the best move for the team, but it wouldn't really surprise me if Ron Francis makes a big swing in free agency with Dougie and basically hand him a blank check.
I'd imagine both the Caps and Wild would want to keep their young goalies, and there's enough of a market out there that the Kraken can get some assets for not taking them, then grab someone from free agency. A tandem of Holtby and Driedger would be good enough to at least be serviceable.
The Sabres seem pretty desperate to do literally anything to make Eichel stick around. Shedding Okposo's contract would go far in letting them throw money at Reinhart and look to improve elsewhere. Losing Mittelstadt may hurt, but he really only started coming around in the second half of the season, and Sabres management don't seem too high on him anymore.
