I say that we would have to give up a 2nd or 3rd for ghost. I also think we can get a better defenseman then demelo in free agency.

I think with only 2 years at 4.5 m to have an immediate pp1 defenseman is enough for Seattle to take without enticement. Jake on the other hand would probably cost us a 2nd

Well they have to lose someone to Seattle and they can't make any trades until after the XD anyways. So, after the XD, if Demelo isn't picked, why trade him for a pick and a dime a dozen prospect or two that at best may have a shot at making the team in 3 or 4 years?

Well i could have just traded him to Seattle then Philly but I assumed since he was exposed people would put it all together and understand he's in fact coming from Seattle and Seattle would take picks and prospects . Thats my bad for assuming I guess....
