Avs likely match the offer. No way this stuff ever happens, not Armstrong's style. Also Cale would likely decline to stay with the Avs. Tkachuk offer is dependent on Seattle selecting Dunn and Vladi expanding/waving his ntc. Been reported he said he just wants out when he heard he was being left unprotected.
Le salaire annuel moyen (AAV) de l'offre hostile est calculé en divisant la valeur totale du contrat par: 1. La durée totale du contrat, ou 2. Cinq ans
Maybe I'm an idiot and reading this wrong, but from what I see his expected goals against and corsi against per 60 are way high. Meaning when he's on the ice he's allowing more goals and chances than Parayko. Right? Or am I missing something here.
Okay. Thanks for explaining. Is this for the the season?
Yes this is for tue 20/21 season, neither player had good numbers last year but Tanev was stapled to Hughes, who proved this year to be a defensive train wreck

How do they compare the last couple prior seasons? Parayko definitely had one of his worst years defensively but he was dealing with/playing with a back injury most of the season and the whole team kind of **** the bed defensively including Binnington not being great since cup run.

I feel like these stats out of context looking at one season are kind of a bad indicator of the kind of player Parayko actually is.

I should clarify something, I am aware Parayko is one of the best shut down dmen in the league. But so is Tanev. Having 2 of them (especially on the same side) is redundant. Even more so when Calgary also has a young up and comer in Rasmus Andersson making over 4M already. You dont want to be spending that much on your 3rd pair guy.
The point i was making is that the only thing Parayko really offers over Tanev is age difference

I see. Didn't realize how well off Calgary was on defense already having not watched them pretty much at all last season.

You think Kyrou is probably gonna be pretty good though? Whenever I saw him on the ice he looked dangerous. Definitely deserves a spot on the second line next season

And how much do you think Landeskog is actually worth? I'm getting nervous about St Louis giving him some ridiculous contract.

Kyrou looks promising, i think he overachieved a bit this year number wise but I also thi k he can still develop more. Probably a si.ilar pace next year since those 2 things kinda cqncel eachother out

Idk on Landeskog, I think he can fetch 8.5 on the market. He's an excellent physical power winger but still just a winger. I expect him and Gaudreau to sign similar contracts this summer
