I don’t think the Isles give Beau 7 years, I think 4 years @4.5 mil is the most likely scenario. I wouldn’t be upset at that Pelech contract considering his value to the team. Sorokin likely gets a bridge deal of 2-3 years and plays for his big boy contract after that. I don’t think Ottawa takes that trade, and they wouldn’t be sending back picks for that haul. The Eberle trade for Tarasenko I actually think is fair considering he wants out badly, but I think he’s bound for Seattle (well, maybe both of them lol). I also don’t see why the Isles would dump Bailey for basically nothing either. Detroit also would want picks to pick up Leo’s contract, and I think the Isles hang on to him at least till the deadline.

I'm biased, I'm willing to go longer for the young guys. I think 4 years would be a disservice to Beau. I'd especially like to keep Sorokin for longer given Varly's age and contract. As for the trades, yeah, they're also biased, especially the Leo one lmao.
