I would love to get Landy andartinez, not sure about the Grandlund signing, ok with Haula if Danault does walk, Brasserie and Kulikov are Meh, but I am a bit worried about the Barrie signing he did well in Edmonton but sucked in Toronto. I wonder if it is a case of he is better suited out west as he was also good in Colorado.

I Agree most of his points were via PP playing with Mcdavid and DRi was a huge boost. Also he is looking for term so i dont think he goes for a 2 year contract if he does it would probably back with the oilers to keep value high playing in the same spot.

Granlund is an upgrade on Byron and has chemistry with Haula. Brassard is a god vet backup for Evans & Poehling and fills the french quota. Kulikov is a vet Russian for Romanov to learn from and have a commrade to help him along. I think Barrie would be good on the 2nd pair with Eddy to insulate him.

I was reserving judgement IF it were to happen as I think it could be good in theory. like Isaid though for me Brassard and Kulikov are meh, by that I mean that their signings aren't game changing but they are good in depth roles so really does not matter too much either way. My issue with Barrie is his defense sucks and he doesn't clear the front of the net. For less money we could sign Suter or another RHD who is better defensively.
