As a Jets fan Copp wont be exposed, Mason Appleton is the more likely candidate. Even if he was Alex Nylander wouldnt be enough to pry him away.

Yeah, I understand the idea. But I think a year of Copp is worth more than Nylander.
I wonder if there's a "Copp for Zadorov" type package that could be created (not sure who would have to add to balance it out)

If the Jets end up losing Copp to Seattle for nothing, it would be a big failure on the part of the Jets.

As it looks right now there is zero chance Winnipeg leaves Copp exposed. Even without a contract he is valuable enough to protect. If you wanted to pry him away you would need to offer a fair value roster player that preferably would be a RHD with term.

because people on this site are morons. I would protect Scheifele, Ehlers, Connor, Wheeler, PLD, Lowry and Copp, on defense Morrissey, Demelo, and Pionk assuming they plan to resign him.

I think the Jets lose either Appleton or Stanley.
In my opinion, both of those guys are replaceable.

Because they're made by fans that get upset because a player doesn't sign a contract the very first day he can.

Unless there is something we don't know about, Copp will 100% be protected. If Chevy gets a deal he thinks is fair value for him and Copp refuses to extend, then I could see him being dealt, but he won't give him away in the XD.
