Hard pass on Drouin. Why take a big cap hit on a player who may or may not play? I wouldn't even claim him on waivers.

some of y'all dont realize drouin still gets 50+ points a season and would be a great winger to play alongside McDavid $5.5M is a great AAV for a 2nd line playmaker with elite speed and hands and great vision

he reportedly turned down $6.25M in the middle of the season so i gave a little more and good term? its not really an overpay for a 50 points player who is one of if not the best defensive forwards in the league he neutralized the top lines of Toronto Winnipeg and Vegas this playoff run

The last two years he scored at 46 and 43 P/82GP rates but has missed a lot of games. Those scoring rates probably are worth an AAV starting with a $4. Biggest reason though is the number of missed games, he only helps if he's in the line-up and that's a big cap hit for a question mark like him.
