Yeah, but they really don’t need to protect Blueger as they could get Gaudreau who fit in well for much cheaper. They’d probably protect ZAR or Tanev before Blueger unless they can come to terms on a contract before hand. Blueger being arbitration eligible makes it difficult for the team to protect him at all.
