Yes. You’re not getting anything back for him in most cases. Also why give up gourde for nothing? He’s worth something because he’s actually good and not a complete cap dump.

JP is next to untouchable with his low cap hit and ability to play in the top 6. Trading for Palat would fill 1LW while opening a hole at 1RW that we'd have to fill at a higher cap hit. It'd have to be a pick/prospect deal to get a guy like Palat.
