I think that if I made this exact trade, I would replace Fiala with Jordan Greenway. I feel as though the Wild are giving up too much in this trade, but Jordan Greenway in my opinion has less value than Fiala and sweetens the deal a bit more for the Wild. Along with that, the Wild might have trouble protecting Greenway at the expansion draft, so it would be better for the Wild to trade him than give him up for free.

Sabres Fan here.... I agree with your analysis that in this deal Wild would need more from Buffalo to make this thing work..... I do not agree that Pilut has no value.... I actually think Pilut would be willing to come back to Buffalo now that Ralphie boy is gone.... a offensive engaging DMan always has value.

Swapping Greenway for Fiala would be fine with me. If not I think the Sabres would have to throw in a mid round draft pick and a mid level prospect.
