Lou had offers on Leddy last year but didn't like the return. He traded Toews instead for the two 2nd rounders - which I expect he will now use in help to shed contract(s) like Ladd, Komarov or Hickey. With one year left I think a team like Seattle would be very interested (good Hakstol scheme fit too).
