Wish I knew. He is AWFUL defensively and will not make contact.

To the trades? I wish. Roman Josi for Couture straight up would be closer. No need for Nashville to give a 1st. Josi outplayed Weber last year.

I'd Pay that for JVR. But unless Mike Milbury took over the leafs, I am pretty sure nobody else would. JVR on paper is worth way more than that.

Having played with JVR I can tell you he fills that 2nd line nicely, although I don't see him realistically remaining there if Marleau had another great season, which he realistically could.

Wingels is a nice pickup for the Leafs, I would argue they would take that trade even without such a good draft pick.
