As a BUF fan, I suppose the value is there, however, I don't like the trade.

Don't know if the Flyers want to give that up for one year of Jones. Reinhart is really a winger. Not sure if Reinhart would resign long term in Columbus anymore than he wants to stay in Buffalo.

Don't think Reinhart will bring in 5th overall especially with Foudy there. The only way that's included is if Eichel is coming back.

And to me, CBJ doesn’t have the stuff to do an Eichel trade.

3 first round picks in this year's draft alone. Foudy+5th+24th plus another pick would be stupid for Buffalo not to take.

We do (the russian pipeline is full) . we just dont want a damaged player. Eichel isnt worth as much as you think. When Buffalo fans accept that, then maybe you will actually complete your decade long rebuild

Other than Buffalo doesn't touch Russian prospects. And while CBJ isn't in a place to take a risk on Jack's injury there are certainly other teams that will.

5OA gets you Guenther, McTavish, Johnson at F, Hughes, Edvinsson at D

IMO Reinhart is their ceilings. It gets you the guaranteed product for giving up a shot at something that could potentially be better than a top line C. If CBJ was in a spot like LAK or ANA where they have a full prospect cupboard, 5OA makes sense, but 5OA from CBJ to Reinhart doesn't make sense.

This thought process is where 3OA for Eichel comes in. ANA has a good prospect pool, giving up adding another piece for a top 10 C in the league is worth it for them or LAK or MIN or NYR

I'm assuming Power/Beniers/Eklund/Clarke are top 4
