Vasy got Vasy treatment because he was absolutely insane in the AHL. Hugo has to earn it first.

Plus young Vasy treatment had Vasy playing in the AHL and only called up when he was expected to start. You'll still need a backup for the games where Hugo is starting for the crunch.

i remeber Vasy backing up for several years behind Bishop ,but i'll say Spencer Martin who is already signed rides the pine and goes down the first year when Alnefelt is called up.

Barring a miracle where they land Bertuzzi, the Blues would likely go for that.

I thought it was a fair trade there will be others wanting Palat negating much of the "helping TB" theory though not completely.

We had the 1a 1b for like a season then we moved Bishop. Nabby was around to backup for Bish but Vasy came up whenever Bishop wasn't starting.

Also Bish was older than Vasy.

Very true but we’ve seen the way those guys play in front of Vasy the dive blocking and sticks in the lanes are unmatched by any other line in the leauge. The blots 3rd line takes the cake for one of the most effective puck possession lines in hockey. Losing 2 of 3 of those guys would certainly be tragic

unfortunately the salary cap is here unless Victor hedman's hip requires off season surgery and he misses 4 months and gives 5 mil in cap relief. and thats not being sarcastic he doesn't have his normal turn and burn since colombus game

I bet he would take about 500k less to stay with one of the best teams in the league and presumably Gourde. Though if we were going to sign someone cheaper and keep some cap flexibility it would be nice if we got someone better than Rowney

I think there is a very good chance this is exactly what the top 9 looks like next year. I'd like to see ABB with Point and Kuch. That 2nd line has played well in the playoffs and with there performances it looks like we might keep Killorn over Palat. I think Colton and Joseph are the obvious replacements to Goodrow and Coleman though I think there's a chance we resign Goodrow in which case you let Joseph play with Stephens and Maroon

if the biggest complaints i get are 4th line rw and backup Goalie i did a great ACGM

happy had to change it back I think this is a very realistic look at TB next year again unless it's hip surgery for Hedman then the band is pretty much back together
