Fowler is UFA in 1 year.... They will either lose him or Silverberg to the expansion draft..... Or both down the road... Silverberg is UFA in 2 years... Either one or the other is going to be gone in the expansion draft. Might as well get a young #1 centre that has potential and at worst case can play wing.

Well then they won't be trading within the division if they're going to make that stupid of a trade. Ducks most likely arent going to trade fowler since his recent production.

Ducks are gonna lose one of them anyways??? Also Benett is going to be at LEAST a 2C and Rasmus A will be a top 4 D... Nick Schneider is topping the WHL in wins at the moment.....

You can pay Shattenkirk all the money he wants, does make him an elite Dman. And just because you want cap space, doesn't mean the Sabres want Stajan or the Vegans Brouwer.

Yeah Shattenkirk isn't signing with Calgary long term plus with Alzner you're delusional if you think you cam afford Fowler and Trouba also that's too much to give up for Fowler whom wouldn't resign in Calgary any ways and Trouba wants no part of Canada guess you missed that part.

Wow, now this is what I'm talking about!!! Quite the reaction in everyone. I am not saying this is 100% possible but if it is then would this not be the best top 6 defence in the NHL...?
