Description

Can’t see his value being too much. Yes he was a former 2nd overall, but he only put up 9 points last year, has a long injury history, has pretty bad advanced stats, and was minus 30 last season. His only saving grace is he wins over 50% of his faceoffs. Think this could be the next Ryan Strome type trade for the rangers. Philly gets a replacement with howden, a depth defenseman in howden, and a 3rd.

Patrick’s value is really hard to judge considering his injury history. It’s a big risk so would anyone really pay more?

I mean if they think Patrick is gonna become what people thought he would be I guess but with chytil and Blackwell getting minutes might be hard.

I think most know his value is low, and if they move him, it needs to be in a bigger deal where he's a smaller part of it.

Yeah I just think he’s a good bottom 6 option right now since he’s good on faceoffs. Blackwell is more of a winger than center, and he will probably be taken by Seattle

I think this is an underpay

Patrick definitely has lost value, but the Flyers wouldn't want to sell low on him.

During the TDL, it was rumored that Vegas was close on acquiring Patrick but the deal fell through. My guess is that Philly wanted too much for him.

The rumor was that hes requesting a trade. I think this may turn into an offer sheet situation with minimal compensation. It’s not like philly has excessive cap space. I think he may end up going to Seattle
