What is everyone’s obsession with trading Rielly?

This team has no defence, TOR already has the scoring, if anything you should either chose between smith or Guentzel and go for one more solid D-man, Although this team does have the Offensive power to outscore teams, I think the Defence should be more of a priority than the Offense

I don't think any of the core 4 are going to be moved. Reilly is kind of the next option to be traded. He is a UFA so Pitt can sign him early and I think he would be a good fit for them to get more offense from the point

They looked fine with the other 5 dmen other than Rielly imo. And DelZotto was +15 on a bad CLB team. Not a superstar name but a good defenseman focused on defense.

If Toronto ever wants to win a single series ever again they have to focus on depth, defense, and goaltending. I like the idea of bringing in dobby as he won’t be protected at the expansion draft. (Seattle probably selects Pavs tho). Bogo would probably be a good pairing with del zotto.

Ok, but you’re not only banking on what if’s with a brand new line 1 (which Reilly Smith doesn’t belong on imo), but you’re also giving up your best offensive defenceman and not really replacing him. Sandin has the offensive up side, but he’s too raw and not responsible enough defensively yet and there’s a reason I call Del Zotto “Del Zaster”. I like the idea of this trade tho, just needs to be worked on
