Description
CAR is oh so close to the playoffs. So, "Here, take 2 of our prospects plus Tatar and Mrazek for 3 of your prospects."

Personally if I'm CAR I say no, and I would just wait to see how good their 3 guys are. But you never know, pressure might be pretty high for CAR to get into the playoffs now, and almost all prospects are a gamble.

While Carolina is close to the playoffs, I wouldn't say there's pressure on them. They don't play in a huge market, and they're rebuilding. In a stacked Metropolitan division, I don't think many were expecting them to make the postseason.

They haven't made the playoffs in 8 yrs, they can't put fans in the seats, and there's talk of relocating the franchise so I think you can say there is pressure there to win soon. Maybe not this year, but soon. They could easily make a push for playoffs this season but they need a goaltender. Mrazek has already proven he has what it takes to be an excellent goalie in this league and he's still young so he has many good years ahead of him. They also need more scoring. Tatar may not be enough, but I think he certainly helps them this season.

How do you figure Edmonton has $20 million in cap space at the TDL, If they can't afford Greens $6 million salary for 1 year then they don't need him.
