Agree. I love having Dermott as 6/7 D but no, he isn't worth protecting. I think he showed his peak this year.

Also more importantly Ullmark is about to make BANK. $2M is only half of what he could get at minimum.

Wild aren't trading a rookie like Nico sturm especially when he plays the position wild don't have barely enough of, & really good rookie who was second to kaprizov in rookie history for goals scored

Not sure what the other MN fan is saying here. It's probably more than what Sturm is worth, but personally I'm very high on Sturm and I think he could be a really quality player in the next couple years, so we're better off holding onto him and seeing what he can become. Defensive centers that have elite skating ability are hard to come by, and that's what Sturm is.
