I dont think Colorado takes that trade.... Yet.

Their asking price for Duchene was already excessive. Capuano just got fired and every GM in the league is thinking that Garth Snow will try to make a blockbuster trade to save his job. In other words, they know he's desperate abd will try to exploit that. I think the guy in charge next year should make that kind of trade offer, whether it's Snow or someone else. It also might not be a bad idea to wait and see what other options open up and see which forwards should stay or go.

In short, your trade offer is close enough to fair value, but no one in the league will give Snow a fair shake right now. Wait it out.
