Would rather Buy Neal's deal on the "Taxi Squad" if they still have it next year, or the minors, than buy him out, it saves an extra year for the buyouts, which is key when Darnell and Pupu's current deals expire.. Can also put Russell's deal with Neal's Squad or Minors jic you need the Cap Room. Only reason I'd move Bear would be if you re-sign Barrie to a nice team Friendly deal with some term, proved he can be a stud on the PP, plus with Bouchard looking like he's ready would make Ethan expendable, and why not try get a need for another teams eventual need- Free Up $3m+ for Tampa they so desperately need, and also hope they lose Johnson to the expansion to get them out of Cap Trouble..
Also, don't know how everybody has forgotten that Stalock is a dependable backup, has been for a few years now, plus should he faulter you can always give Skinner another try, or go out and get another backup at the deadline....
Feel like this is a good mix of bringing in the younger in flux of talent, while also adding veteran presence/leadership and Cup experience. Palat would be a solid get, big plays LW and has experience playing with other studs to help alleviate Connor and Leon...
