My thoughts...
Colorado gets a young promising goalie and D man plus what looks like could be a top 10 pick in the draft. Perfect for rebuilding.

Zona gets a goalie prospect that they need.

Anaheim can't protect all their D men so trading one makes sense. Raffl is very under-rated and can play any role you ask him to. Aube-Kubel is a young prospect who scored a fair amount in the Q.

Weise and Cousins will be exposed...hope Vegas takes Weise, if not, not a huge deal.

Next year we bury A-Mac to make room for whomever is ready to make the jump.

I like the Duclair trade the most. Not a huge fan of giving up our 2017 first but the lineup looks pretty enticing

Maybe but he isn't worth more. Sakic isn't ping to get what he is currently asking and this fills the categories he wants so actually I doubt it would take "a lot" more than this.

The thing is, Duchene is still young, extremely talented and on a good contract. The Avs have no reason to accept a deal for him that doesn't return them what they want. They have stated that they are looking for a blue chip D prospect or a D that has the potential to be a #1. Hagg is a good prospect but does not fit their criteria so there is no reason for them to make this trade. They will hold onto Duchene until someone ponies up, and if nobody does they will keep him for the time being.

I agree they can hold him forever but that's not going to help a rebuild.

Sorry but Duchene is not worth a #1 D, a solid prospect forward or goalie and a 1st. If any fm pays that they should immediately be fired.
