Description
Armstrong decides to burn this roster to the ground for futures. I’m not actually against doing so either. The Coyotes are in the absolute worst state of mediocrity and they will stay there until the players improve or they blow it all up. I am not ready for another 3-4 years of sucking but it’s better than them teasing the fans every year and collapsing down the stretch

Trades were roughly created. Interested to hear feedback from NJD fans, might have put a little too much in the return. I’ve seen the MTL trade proposed before, I think it’s a little steep but it assumes that there’s a bidding war for Garland this off-season.

    We're good with wingers. Holtz, Foote, Mercer, Bratt, etc

    Buffalo would want Garland waaay more than Schmaltz. What's the equivalent ask from them instead of Montreal for Garland?

    More or less the equivalent of the MTL trade from Buff perspective. So, young-ish roster player with term (top 4 or 2nd line type player), B+/A- prospect, first rounder. Assuming Buffalo doesn't want to trade any first rounders for the next couple years, one of the 2 other assets needs to be better. Not super familiar with your prospect pool, what’s your offer? RD and C prospects/players preferred

    That being said, I think Garland would fit better on a playoff type team than another rebuilding team. Feels like a guy who should go to a team that’s “one piece away” so to speak

    I like all of these trades individually, but I obviously don't think they fit collectively - don't think you're going for that, though.

    Nope I took the Garland swap from you. Reduced the cost just a bit because I saw MTL fans saying it was too much last time you posted it (I removed the 2nd rounder).

    And yes this would be just throwing every valuable asset besides Chychrun on the market to completely blow it up and tank. The resulting team does not work well at all, but that’s kind of the point I guess. To be honest I hope they trade Schmaltz and Keumper and keep the rest of the roster in-tact. I think their biggest problem is coaching. But new GMs who inherit messes like these like to blow things up and start from scratch

    Mostly good on wing...
    Bratt, Kuokkanen, Wood, Johnsson
    Boqvist, Zacha and Sharangovich have been playing wing some too
    Foote, Holtz, Mercer, Thompson, Clarke coming
    Bastian, Maltsev providing depth.

    Biggest need is 2 more top-4 d-men with Smith & Severson
    Hoping to get via our 2021 1st pick, and one of Bahl, Mukhamadullin, Okhotyuk, Walsh, Edwards, McCarthy.
