No only Kruger, but other forward is needed on the roster. Imagine if Dallas hadn't taken Sharp, the cap problems they would have.

You can trade Kruger's rights for something of value. Though probably not a roster player, as you can't fit in any more.

Sending Bickell to Rockford is an interesting thought. I hadn't thought of it before this. Obviously a buyout was the preferred option, but he was injured during the buyout window.

What person honestly thinks were going to take a cap hit of 3.050 mil for a guy to sit? Hes gonna be on the roster if that's the case and maybe he'll be a healthy scratch here and there. Bury him and take 96% of his cap or GIVE him away to a team who needs a cap hit and retain MAXIMUM 50%?

No team needs him. You'd need to sacrifice a prospect to get someone to take him. Just retaining salary isn't enough of a motivation for a team to accept him.

And he has a NTC.

Okay, then he's on the roster..not gonna be buried with 96% of his cap retained, that makes no sense, whatsoever.
