I keep hearing he will be ready then i hear he wont be ready. So i just left him off.

The puck just dies on Simmonds stick and he hasn't found a game since the injury. Thornton is just not it man, he doesn't have it anymroe. Robertson to me is one of those pieces you play on the second line and he can keep up with the play of Nylander and score. He was great in the bubble last year. and with him on the second and Galch on the first, it allows Hyman and Foligno to have a great third line.

I do agree that he is better suited for a top Six role.

Unless Hutton elevates his game from his time in Anaheim it will be Dermott on the 3rd pair.

Nash is a bit of a wildcard

To me Dermott always looks frantic with the puck. I wish we actually kept lehtonen. But the word on Hutton I've heard is he's had a rough go because he has always played on **** teams.

If he is good to go he can replace engvall.

I know what you mean with Dermott but it's just the way he skates, lots of moving parts, he's decent enough with the puck and transitions well enough for 3rd pairing guy. I thought he was good tonight and has been decent as of late not as inconsistent as he used to be. Him and Bogo lead Leaf d pairs in xGA/60. I would love Hutton to come in and play great for us and earn the spot but it's Dermott's spot for now IMO, will be hard to tell though until we see Hutton in a leafs uniform.
