I think EDM needs to add a little more......not an A prospect or a top pick, but maybe a 4th or something. BUF can't afford to take on a Neal contract if they want to rebuild quickly.

As an Oilers fan, absolutely not. I'm not losing Bear and a first to move Neal's contract when a buyout is a much better route. Oh and Samorukov? **** no.

Hall literally has less goals than Adam Larsson. He's making at least 4 million to score just over .50 PPG, if he's moved to Edmonton, a contract like Russell's will balance it out.

The great news about this is that it's an absolutely terrible trade for Edmonton. They're giving up way too much to move Neal when a buyout of 1.9 million over two years is a much smarter way to go about it.

Plus you're not giving up a puck moving dman, a first AND a solid prospect. Get outta here.

Russell, Savoie and a pick. That's all I'm doing for Taylor Hall. This isn't MVP Taylor Hall, he has 2 goals (Adam Larsson has three), just over a .50 PPG clip. I'm setting this target, and if Buffalo doesn't accept, then whatever.

I think you're being a Homer.......The first is basically a glorified 2nd, the "solid" prospect is just ok, and though I like Bear and think he has a bright futre, he's a 3/4 at best on most teams, including this one.

You're ignorance to 2nd round picks are showing. That's a pick in the late teens/early 20s, at most 25th... That's a good spot to pick. Stop being a ****.

Samorukov isn't their top prospect for sure, but he's not someone I want to be throwing away, along with the pick AND Bear.

Also Bear... Jesus Christ. With all the promise he showed last season, you're ready to throw him into a cap dump for a player who may not even re-sign? He had a damn concussion, let's not try and throw that away for nothing, especially with a buyout being a much smarter idea.
