This is a straight up no from COL. They don't need Gustafsson, and to hit any value Patrick has to stay healthy and produce for the next season or two. The picks shouldn't have even been included.

Yea after I posted it I read a few articles on patrick value and this seems to be over pay for sure... I know they really liked patrick in 2017 draft so was thinking this could be solid pickup for the 3rd C postion.

I think any deal for Patrick is going to be done just prior to the protected lists coming out for the expansion draft. A team that is going to be willing to take a risk and protect him will send over a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him. Detroit, Buffalo, Chicago and LA are 4 teams that probably could protect Patrick with a deal, just off the cuff.
