that isnt even remotely true, literally every stat shows that he is a great 2 way player with bad shooting luck this year. And yes, even the eye test this year shows that.
If you want a liability at both ends of the ice, you get yourself foligno

Ohh my god you're by the stats. It could say whatever, you have to watch the game to know how bad he is. He is literally a liability on both ends of the rink. Nick Foligno is miles better than Hall

i mean, i mentioned the eye test. You know, from watching the games. So i have both the stats and the eyes on watch the game stuff too.
So you have no stats and your eye test against both for me, it's amazing how more information can make someone better informed.
Foligno isnt even on the same planet as Hall, literally.

Hall is another Nylander. The Leafs aren't going for that

Nylander is a very good 1st line player. The leafs would love to add another one of him, because they're smart

Palmieri is significantly better than Foligno, and is basically a 3rd liner who is a power play specialist at this point. Of course the Leafs had interest in him, he'd be a solid depth add, that doesnt mean they werent interested in Hall then or now. the islanders chose Palmieri because Lou is an absolute sucker and not a good GM and bought hook line and sinker when NJ added one of his good ol boys in zajac to go with him (zajac is very bad so this is hilarious).
the simple fact that Hall is still very good is why dubas would be interested in him

Out of all the available rentals, palmieri was by far the best fit for the isles to play with barzal. You’re over exaggerating on zajac because you don’t like Lou. A top 6 winger and a 3rd liner with retained salary for a late 1st and AHL. Depth players. Devils fans hated the trade - but Lou is a sucker!
