Idk about graves because Colorado have to worry about the expansion draft and protecting players. They got 3 other defencemen who I protect over graves. Cale Makkar, Bowen Byram and Samuel. They got toews too. Looking at the trade I agree I should've added more. Maybe a 2nd round pick or 2 thirds.

They don't get to protect Byram. Toews will be their man. In this situation (cap crunch) nobody will want to have bad contracts. Thta's why we're seeing tons of players getting waived and not getting picked. It wouldn't be wise to get rid of contracts with picks anyway. Sutter will indeed probably be traded before the TDL but exceopt him... No one will want to have VAN's players tbh

Benn will have a market for a later round pick. Teams are always looking for defense depth at the deadline. Pearson also will have interest at the deadline for a mid round pick.
