Description

Forsberg for Konecny straight up is good value for NSH. Konecny is younger, on a great long term deal, and provides similar scoring.

That means Arviddson is fetching the difference:
Bennett + Kylington + Frost + 2nd

Definitely matches Arviddson’s actual market value this time. He’s 27 and has been scoring at a rate of 0.60 pts/game over the past 3 seasons (149 games, 90 points). This is good value for a 50 point winger. Kylington is already NHL capable. Bennett is a solid cheap bottom 6 physical forward with scenery change upside potential. Frost is a very solid C prospect. And a 2nd rounder is valuable in the flat cap world.

Everyone improves here.

Added the Monahan deal to try to upset SJ fans as well.

Do all these deals in the off-season.

Which I actually like a lot. I just don't think the sharks of the flyers make these deals.

The Mang - Backlund - Tkachuk line is dominant and has been for years. They matchup really well against top units on other teams and still score. Yes, Backlund is a 2C, not a 1C. But for line construction and matchups, there’s no reason to break these 3 guys up. They play unreal together.
