This is what I was mentioning in the previous post. What will the penalty killing lines look like with these defensemen? One of Bouchard, Broberg or Barrie will need to PK. The simple solution here is to keep Bear because he's much better defensively (expected +/- of 0.6 vs Barrie's -5.6 while playing a vast majority of his ice time with McD, being one example of defensive ability). Tippett cares about defence first. Broberg will sit in the press box eating popcorn all season while Lagesson plays because he can be trusted to PK. I think this roster sets us up for another Bouchard situation where our promising defence rookie sits because we are busy sheltering Tyson Barrie. I do see the appeal of keeping Barrie but I just don't think it works
