Firstly, Kulikov. Old, not going to help the devils much.
Secondly, Palmieri is also old, and assuming they don’t resign, he wont be too costly. He’s a great player, defensively and offensively. A late first round pick for him seems sufficient and 3rd seems sufficient. Bodie Wilde is to get Kulikov.
Komarov is still a decent 3rd liner and a PK specialist, would help the devils atrocious PK. He’s good in the locker room, and can help the development of some of the young forwards. Wilde is a decently promising prospect.

Palmieri adds some of the offense that Lee had. He’s physical enough and is defensively good enough to fit in well with the Trotz system. Could slot in net to Barzal and Eberle and get some scoring going.
Kulikov is really a 7th defenseman for the team. Andy Greene is ancient and it is important that it’s possible to give him a rest or if he’s hurt, have a viable option to replace him. Islanders have two seventh defenseman in Hickey and Aho, both offensive. A defensive depth piece is important.
