He’s another one of those guys like Shattenkirk who was a really good player in the league but kinda fell off. Cheap good contract I like it.

Savard makes sense for what we need, but I imagine getting him on 50% retention and then getting another team to retain even more to make it work would cost us a fortune. Del Zotto seems much more realistic. Plus, he gives us an upgrade over Borgman for 4LD. As they do on the Price is Right, bid $1 and hope you win.

Vatanen, Carrick and Tennysson are three RHD from the Devils that might interest the Lightning.

Sounds good to me. This team could clearly use a depth D man on cheap term. Seems to me as if Del Zotto is a perfect solution to that problem. As long as the price isn’t to high I’d be in favor of this move.

I bet there would be some better options than Honka. He’s probably not much better than Schenn. Schenn isn’t good tho so maybe he is.
