Both players are almost exactly the same making this trade pointless. Especially since you take away their current team chemistry.

Quinns offensive upside vs Cale is basically zero as Cale has a better points ratio but plays with better players so it's a push.
Quinns ability to move the puck is better than Cales and his PP QB ability might be the best in the NHL.
But Cale's defense is so much more polished. Quinn in 4 years might become worth a hair more than Cale but things would have to round into form hard for that. They both stay, they're both great, they shouldn't be compared anyway.

It's never Quinn vs Cale except for the Calder. Col got Cale when we got Petey, when we got Quinn they got... Martin Kaut.
