You shouldn’t sell eichel to the NYR without kakko or laf coming back. If you can get Mika & kakko/laf I think that would be a better return. Eichel is generational

Eichel is elite, he is not generational. He doesn’t match mcdavid, mackinnon or matthews.
Arguably he doesn’t match draisaitl (mcdavid effect).

Unless you actually want Tony d, don’t see the rangers “paying more” to take him since his buyout is under 400k. I would say remove him and make the 22 1st conditional on making the conference finals (otherwise it’s a 2nd) and it’s a fair deal. Rangers LOVE Lundkvist and he’s such an elite talent it’s hard to give him up with Zibanejad but if it brings in eichel, it may be worth it. The 21 1st is looking like it may be a top pick as well. Don’t see either team making this until the draft, that rangers 1st can be another lottery win and a 1-2 pick holds a lot more value than a 6-10.
