I think this trade overrates arviddson. It’s not like he’s 24 YO, he turns 28 soon and you’re taking a risk, his best years might be behind him. 3 goals in 25 games this season. I’m still down to trade for him but he’s not worth a 1st + those two prospects. Either komarov or bailey should be a throw in if we’re giving up that much

If komarov was in it with these prospects I think it still gets done because his 3 million isn’t bad and Nashville can just flip him for next to nothing or can just ride it out for a season.

I agree with your intent, I just think this is a significant overpay for a player that might only be an average 2nd line F at this point in his career. Or he could take off , who knows. I’m not taking the risk of trading a D with top pair potential and a 1st if they don’t take one of komarov/bailey.

The isles are better off trading a 3rd for nick cousins (who has been just as good as arviddson this season...)

At this point I’d rather just keep Bailey and the prospects
