I disagree with the Lemieux one. He just isn't that good and a young nhl-ready defenseman and some picks seems like a pretty solid return, especially since MTL fans are crazy high on him for some reason.

Mete wont pass miller or lindgren so hes a 3rd pair d here at best (meaning if reunanen robertson or jones dont pass him in the depth chart) and lemieux gives us physicality no one else on our team brings, we need him for the same reason you want him

I was saying that as a Rangers fan. I like what he does physically but he is ineffective in nearly every other area of the game. Solid defensively but for a team that lacks depth scoring that isn't very helpful. That being said I agree that Mete maybe isn't the best fit long term.
