Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Even strength: Hughes has been great in Hischier’s absence but I think Hischier still has the better overall game at 1C, hopefully him and Bratt can get Palms game going. Same hope for Gusev playing with Hughes. 3rd line can take plenty of D-zone face offs and chip in points at times. No way the devils should split up the 4th line. Sharangovich hasn’t been as good as fans thought after first couple of games but should be first man in with injuries and could slot in up and down the line up. People may disagree with Vats top pairing but I could see Murray complementing his game.

Power play: So many puck moving d-men. Gives Devils options to move d-men out if PP isn’t clicking in game, however past Devils PPs have been best in the past with Vats. Play Wood in front of the net on PP1 and he can be swapped out with Bastian if it’s not clicking in game.

Penalty kill: Henrique, Hischier and Vats will hopefully improve the PK a lot. This has been a bright spot on past underperforming Devils teams but has been terrible to start 2021.

Would love for Henrique to come back, Devils will need some vet presence especially if Palms goes at the deadline and who knows what management will do with Zajac. Probably wishful thinking but I know a lot of fans would love to see Henrique back in a Devils jersey.
